Material

This floor board is made from Aya Forestry Kaya and crafted as a single-piece, inner-heart cut board.
Aya Forestry Kaya refers to kaya wood sourced from forests formerly managed by the Aya Regional Forestry Office in Miyazaki, Japan.

An inner-heart cut board is taken from the inner side of the log, preserving a continuous grain structure across the surface.

Condition and Character

There are natural stains visible on the sides and parts of the top surface.
These marks are part of the material’s history and do not affect the structural integrity of the board.

The thickness and overall quality remain fully suited to use as a floor board.

The board measures 5.6-sun in thickness.
