Storage Box for Piece Stands and Piece Boxes (Paulownia Wood)

Purpose

This paulownia wood box is designed to store piece stands and piece boxes together.

It is used for storage after play, as well as for transport during exhibitions or other occasions that require moving the set.

The interior structure allows both the piece stands and the piece box to be stored in one place.

A handle is attached to help reduce the burden when carrying.

Material

The box is made from Japanese paulownia wood that has undergone an akunuki process (removal of natural tannins and impurities).

Paulownia is lightweight and relatively resistant to changes in humidity.
For this reason, it has long been used in Japan as a material for storage.

It is not a prominent item on its own,
but it serves to maintain the surrounding environment of the board and its accessories.
