Paulownia Presentation Box

Use

This is a paulownia wood box designed to store a table board (Shogi board or Go board).

It helps protect the board from external impact and moderates exposure to humidity.
It may be used for daily storage, as well as for protection during transport.

In Japan, such boxes are traditionally used to store wooden boards for long-term care.

Material

The box is made from Japanese paulownia wood.
The material is treated to remove natural resins before use.

Paulownia is lightweight and relatively resistant to changes in humidity.
For long-term storage of wooden boards, it is considered a compatible material.

Dimensions

Each box is made to order.
If you provide the dimensions of your board, the box will be crafted accordingly.

Because it is not a fixed-size product, it can be tailored to fit an existing board.

Consideration

If the board remains permanently installed in one place, a storage box may not be necessary.
It becomes relevant when there are occasions for storage or transportation.
